Vbeam pulsed dye laser

What is a pulsed dye laser?

The pulsed dye laser we use is the model Vbeam Perfecta from the Syneron Candela® laboratory.

The Vbeam device is a pulsed dye laser equipped with a flash lamp, suitable for vascular lesions. It has a 595 nm wavelength (concentrated light beam energy) that is able to target the blood vessels visible at the surface of the skin. There is no impact on the surrounding tissue.

This new generation of laser can treat large areas of skin without purpura. Purpura is a purple rash. Sometimes it is necessary to cause purpura to get results. The Vbeam device thus incorporates the treatment parameters that can be modified to induce a reversible purpura in the areas treated.

The most common treatment is that of rosacea and rosacea-erytho. It also permanently erases cherry angiomas, spider veins and telangiectasias of the face and legs.
