What to expect

Your first consultation at Centre Laser Lyon is an important moment that will allow your doctor to hear your requests and offer you a personalized treatment plan. Facial wrinkles are all different and your treatment plan will be adapted to your skin.
From when the fractional CO2 laser is planned, it is important to avoid sun exposure because the laser must be used on as light a skin as possible. A prescription (not supported by social security) will be given to you along with your quote.
An hour before the treatment session, you will apply a numbing cream on the zone to treat. Wearing glasses is mandatory: metal glasses for you and protective goggles for your doctor. Once the skin is anesthetized, the session will begin. The session to treat the entire face will last about 20 minutes.

A cooling system is built in to the apparatus to blow air and ensure maximum comfort.
Whie the session itself is relatively painless, at the end, you will feel a warm tingle like a sunburn and your skin will be red. A healing cream will be applied immediately. Then you must carefully follow the directions your doctor prescribes so that your skin can renew itself quickly and well. Your skin will renew itself and this must be done in the right conditions. Afterwards, your skin will be smoother, finer and more radiant. Thanks to the thermal action of the fractionated CO2 laser, your skin will gradually tone up over the following months.

BIPOLAR RADIOFREQUENCY

Fractional bipolar radiofrequency is an alternate treatment to the fractional CO2 Multiscan laser. This treatment provides long-lasting lifting effect and reduction of vertical fine lines and wrinkles due to sun exposure (« photoaging »), with a minimal downtime. This safe and effective treatment is ideal for any skin tone, from fair to dark-skinned types.

A RADIOFREQUENCY SESSION

During your first consultation at Centre Laser Lyon, your doctor will determine a personalized plan for a facial treatment, including front neck if deemed necessary.
Treatment protocol usually includes 3 monthly sessions.

Radiofrequency devices heat up the top layers of the dermis using an applicator with a 64-electrode tip. The doctor will cover the overall facial area, once or several times. Electrical stimulation of the skin surface will lead to an increase of collagen and elastin production, while benefiting from a minimal skin effraction.
At the end of the session, you will usually experience a mild warming sensation, due to the radiofrequency energy. Contrary to the fractional CO2 laser treatment, side effects are much limited with this minimally invasive treatment. Tiny and thin scabs will appear in the following days and will go away within one week. Patients can resume their regular activities 24 hours after treatment.

HOW MUCH IS THIS LASER TREATMENT?

The rate per session for the radiofrequency wrinkle treatment will vary depending on the extent of the area to be treated: a patient may choose cheeks treatment or a full-face treatment including the front neck. The cost per session begins at about 200 euros.
